Sen, Obama's weakness in the 20 years of silence issue

Sen, Obama's weakness in the 20 years of silence issue is that Rev. Wright had been spewing his hate speech toward whites the entire 20 year span. As was demonstrated in the recent biography of Rev. Wright on PBS. and in the presence of a then young looking Obama.

My point is that When he determined that he was going into public service, He should've been the one to " take the high road " and approach Rev. Wright privately and he (Obama) should have counseled Wright that they had the perfect opportunity to break the cycle of hatred right there at their church. The cycle of race hatred that didn't start with slavery in America, Nor did it start in England. Slavery was commonly practiced by Africans themselves for more than 1000 yrs. Tribes fought and the winners took the losers as slaves. As explained in the article by Manfred R. Lehmann titled " Alice Farrakhan in African Wonderland", The True History of Slavery. And that it wasn't practiced until the African tribes "offered" these victims of their conquest to the 15th century Europeans in trade for goods. Until then the practice of slavery 'Toward Africans" did not exist in Europe.
Slavery was "exported" by the African people. As told by Manfred R. Lehmann again at the Fabulous Christian - Jewish Pro - Israel Conference in Washington in 1975. He states that Black Slavery is the "Dirty Secret of Africa". That "Muslim rulers, especially those governments of Sudan, Libya, Saudi Arabia and Mauritania still enslave their African brothers and sisters.

This should have been the outrage by the American black community! These practices should have been what was condemned for 20 years by both Rev. Wright and then Mr. Obama, now Sen. Obama. But according to them it's America that is solely responsible and it's America that is to shoulder the shame, It's America that is to pay restitution.

Yes, Sen. Obama there does have to be a dialog on race. but it should have the right focus and the hatred MUST be re-directed. I worry that for decades, these hate full things have been taught to those kids and families in churches such as that of Trinity United Church of Christ of which Rev. Wright was a pastor for 30 years. Does this explain why Mrs. Obama has not been proud of America? No. I  had a chance to go to Harvard, but I'm glad I didn't judging by the intellect that is coming out of that University. I have 5 years of college and it only took me 15 minutes to find these articles about the miss-information on slavery.

The black community should be enraged at their leaders for not having this discussion a long time ago, But we must have it soon because Sen. Obama was not more qualified than Sen. Edwards, the "white male" candidate, so if not for being the "rock star" black candidate, he would not have gone as far as he has,( by his own admission). I worry that the black community will believe that they were discriminated against in the case that Sen. Obama looses. As a Spanish American, I will swear that he has not been discriminated against. Furthermore as a Spanish Republican he is not qualified,"at this time" to be President. And for not having had the judgment to question Rev. Wright and bring up the race dialog earlier in his career, he is more like the typical politician that comes out of the Chicago political machine and its "pay to play" government.
Look at Sen. Obama's speech to the teamsters union in which he said something to the effect that you have to have someone on the inside to help you get your stuff taken care of. He got the endorsment of the teamsters. His association with Tony Rezco still needs to be scrutinized, as his trial is ongoing. The coverage by the Chicago Tribune is pretty damning of Mr. Rezco.
